How it works
- Enter a web address, e.g. “https://www.example.com”.
- Optionally adjust error correction, size and colours.
- Click “Create QR code” and download it as PNG or SVG.
Notes and limitations
- The code contains the address directly – there is no middleman, no tracking and no expiry date. It works as long as the web page exists.
- That also means the destination cannot be changed later. That would need a redirect service with a server, which this site deliberately does not offer.
- Use SVG for print: it scales to any size without losing quality.
- Shorter addresses give simpler codes that are easier to scan.
Frequently asked questions
Do these QR codes ever expire?
No. The QR code is an image that contains the address itself. It works as long as the linked page is online.
How big should a printed QR code be?
As a rule of thumb at least 2 × 2 cm, and larger when scanned from further away (roughly a tenth of the scanning distance).
