How it works

  1. Choose or drop your PNG files.
  2. Set the quality and – for transparent images – the background colour.
  3. Click “Convert to JPG” and download the results.

Notes and limitations

  • JPG does not support transparency. Transparent areas are filled with the chosen colour (white by default).
  • For screenshots with text or sharp edges, PNG is often the better choice; JPG can blur them slightly.
  • For photos, JPG often saves 70–90% of the space.

Frequently asked questions

Which quality should I choose?

85–90% is barely distinguishable from higher settings for photos. For web images, 75–80% is often enough.
