How it works
- Enter the network name (SSID) and password, and choose the security type.
- Optionally say whether the network is hidden.
- Click “Create QR code”, print it and put it somewhere visible.
Notes and limitations
- The password is written into the code only in your browser and is not transmitted.
- Careful: anyone who sees the code can read the password. Ideally use it for a separate guest network.
- iPhones (iOS 11 and later) and Android phones support Wi-Fi codes in the camera app. “WPA/WPA2/WPA3” covers the usual router settings.
- Network names and passwords are case-sensitive.
