How it works
- Choose the barcode type and enter the content.
- Adjust bar width, height and text display.
- Click “Create barcode” and download it as SVG or PNG.
Notes and limitations
- Code 128 accepts letters, digits and symbols (ASCII); long digit sequences are encoded compactly automatically.
- For EAN and UPC, enter the number without the check digit – it is calculated – or with it, and it will be verified.
- Real product EAN codes are assigned by GS1; this tool only draws the barcode for a number you already have.
Frequently asked questions
Can I make up an EAN for my product?
For sale in retail, you need numbers assigned by GS1. For internal purposes, Code 128 is usually the better choice.
